The GEL-NYC GS (Grade School) is inspired by both traditional and modern performance running styles.
The upper is modeled after the GEL-NIMBUS 3 from the early 2000s, combined with design elements from the GEL-MC-PLUS V.
The sole construction was also influenced by insights from the ISS, developed with greater flexibility in the forefoot and stability in the midfoot area to support growing children’s feet. Inspired by ASICS archive models, the design combines the flowing lines and jagged edges of the 2000s and 2010s.
